Synectics is a management consulting firm based in Northern California. Steve Zuieback founded the firm in 1985, and collaborates with colleagues in the United States and Australia in the design and facilitation of large-scale systems change work.
Many issues facing organizations today are complex, multi-faceted, interdependent and unpredictable. Synectics works with clients to find creative approaches to issues that require working with multiple interests, finding common ground, engaging diverse stakeholders in collaborative conversations, planning and learning opportunities, while at the same time building the skills to sustain the evolutionary process over time.
About Steve Zuieback
Steve Zuieback is president of Synectics and a member of the Dalmau Network based in Australia. Steve has extensive consulting and training experience with private business, governmental organizations, schools, communities and non-profit organizations in the areas of leadership, creative planning, restructuring, change implementation, productivity improvement, team development, and community building.
Steve's professional activities take him around the country and around the world. He has worked with BHP, ALSOC, Coles Myer and Transport South Australia in intensive leadership development and planning sessions in Australia and with Ernst & Young in South Africa, Australia and Indonesia.
The key focus of work now is in the area of building deep leadership and facilitation capacity within large organizations and systems, especially in educational systems. In this regard, he is currently working with Riverside County Office of Education in the state-wide Focused Monitoring Program, Los Angeles County Office of Education, San Diego County Office of Education, Desert Mountain SELPA, Mt Diablo Unified School District, Vancouver Public Schools, San Francisco Unified School District.
